InfoWatch CryptoStorage is a reliable means of ensuring confidentiality of data with which you can:

The container file can be installed locally, including on removable drives or a network resource. After connecting the container with the help of the InfoWatch CryptoStorage it will be possible to work with it as a secure virtual logical drive. In the disabled state the encrypted container looks like any ordinary file of unknown format. In addition, the container file can be copied, recorded on CD and DVD, sent by mail, or transferred to another computer with this solution pre-installed. At the same time the possibility to connect the containers is not lost.

Work with the encrypted information is performed in the “transparent” mode. Confidential data is initially encrypted, then when reading the encrypted data from the disk, they are automatically decrypted, and during recording – is automatically encrypted. Operations associated with installing, reinstalling, and removing the protection are performed in the background.

Access to protected information can be obtained only by its owner, who knows the password. The owner can also grant access to encrypted data to other users. If the protection is installed on the system and/or boot drive, the user authentication is carried out before loading of the operating system.
